Dr. Sabiha Alam Choudhury, born 22 Nov 1988, received her PhD from Gauhati University in 2018. In 2009, she completed her BA(Hons.) in Psychology and MA (Psychology) in 2011 from Aligarh University. She then joined Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhian to complete an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology in 2012. She also holds a Diploma on Neuro-Linguistic Programming from MIND India: Institute of Positive Mental Health, in collaboration with MIND MASTERS.

Dr. Sabiha has organized many international and national conferences in the areas of psychology, education, mental health, etc. She is involved in voluntary community counselling activities, from 2015 till date, organized by Assam Don Bosco University in designing and supervising the programme as the Head of the Psychology and Counselling department.

Some of her skill areas are Public Speaking, Positive Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Research, Psychological Testing, Mental Health Counseling, Community Mental Health, Applied Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Family Counselling, Marriage Counselling, etc.

She is a frequent public speaker on the various mental health issue in institutions and organizations across northeast India.
